After a hiatus that we didn’t know we were taking, we are back and ready!!!
In coming back we are planning on rolling out a yearly award. Here are the primarily details as we have them.
Three Genres
Horror (No Erotic horror)
Urban Fantasy
Dystopian
Two categories for each
Cover – Just the cover
Full book – Full book including the cover
Deadline
Entries will be allowed between September 1 and October 31, 2025
Winners will be announced February 1, 2026
Cost
$5 USD per book per category
If you chose to put your book in both categories it would be $10 USD.
Voting
Covers will be voted on by the public and the internal voting team.
The public will get to vote daily.
The internal team will vote once at the very end, especially if there are ties.
Books will be voted on by the internal team of judges. Each judge will vote using a matrix. Points will be added and the individual with the most points will win.
Where the money goes
We believe in people knowing what they are paying for.
Each winner (6 total) will receive stickers both physical and digital to place on their books. If enough people enter, then a physical trophy/medal will also be awarded at no charge.
Winner covers will be included in a singular post spotlighting all three.
Winning books will each have their own post reviewing the book.
Posts will be pushed to Facebook and Tik Tok and authors will be tagged in possible.

Small Print
One book – One genre, even if your book could be classified as horror and dystopian, please pick the genre you best feel it fits in.
All results are final, we have been reading and reviewing for 10+ years. We have fellow readers and reviewers helping.
This year we are allowing all books from all years, in the future we may change this to recently published, haven’t decided yet.
No refunds, no exchanges, to pushing it to the next year. You pay, your book will be reviewed and judged.
Winners will be contacted for address for labels as well as bio if not readily available online. Winners will also be emailed JPEG of award. If no physical label is desired that is okay.
